I have a green thumb!!

buttttt depending on where you reside, that summer weather may linger on for a couple of weeks.

Some may view it as somewhat of a bad thing… I see it as an opportunity to add more floral patterns to your closet. WOO!

floral. Floral. & MORE FLORALLLL.

^ Here are a few of my faves from my closet ^

Now, if I know retail as well as I think I do, I would say a lot of your favorite stores are prepping for the Fall, which could mean 2 things: 1) Their summer items are on sale & 2) Those summers items could be sold out. SO ACT NOW. Well.. after you finish reading this post 😉

While shopping with friends and coworkers late in a season, a lot of them contemplate buying an item because it’s going to ‘go out of season soon’ and then they ‘can’t wear it.’ WHAT?!

That’s not a thing..

If you like it, buy it! Well wait.. If you like it, AND you have the funds, then buy it. You can always wear it next year! And who doesn’t like adding to their closet? Exactly.

I remember when I first saw this print. I. DIED. I like it because it’s a subtle floral print, but yet busy enough to catch your eye. I paired it with olive pants, to give the look a more darker tone, but still tropical and summery. Yes, that’s a word.

From afar this shirt looks as if it someone covered it in christmas sprinkles. Well maybe that was the inspiration behind the design.. Now take a closer look.. He’s just a more shy pattern. Paired with my red jeans, to make the red in the shirt POP! (I saw JT wear red pants, so I wore red pants)

The above shirts definitely have more of a Spring/Summer vibe to them. Sooo don’t try to pull a fast one once Fall rolls around. All good things must come to an end. Until next year. Anyway, the next two are pretty versatile.

I love the colors in this polo. They compliment each other well and the pattern isn’t wild. Not to toot my own horn, but I always get compliments on this ole thang. I usually pair it with white or khaki bottoms, but the right shade of maroon/burgundy would definitely do the trick. If you find it, please let me know!

The reason I believe these two prints could carry over into the Fall is because not only are the dominant colors a darker shade, but the submissive/secondary colors in the tops are soft as well. You want more faded, darker, burnt colors for Fall. Look, another reason to shop. The red could be argued, but I’m letting you know that it’s fine! I tone it down with black pants or dark jeans, to help with the smooth transition.

Alright, there you have it! GO! Hurry, before the sales end.
